No I am not talking about foreign policy... This here is a race report! Today I raced the USAT Duathlon National Championships just outside of Tucson, AZ. It was a fantastic venue and a really fun race. Granted, races in which I achieve my goal(s) always tend to be “really fun” in race reports, but I really did enjoy it! My first multisport race was actually a duathlon, the “TBF Summer Duathlon #2” in August of 2007. It was “really fun” (I won), but I didn’t race my second duathlon until today. My arbitrary goal was to finish in the top-4 – I didn’t recognize many of the names on the start list and wasn’t sure how different everything would be ...
This week I have been sick. I went to student health today and the doctor said I have allergies and a resulting nasal polyp, don't google it, and on top of that a cold. It's not the greatest. But, I have medicine for both the short term and the long term and I'm hopeful that I can get back to training tomorrow. In the meantime, I made kombucha this week, as I tend to do every week. It saves a bit of money and I really enjoy the process, plus it's Boulder, of course I brew my own kombucha! Hillary asked for details, which I happily detail in great detail below...
