This week, I am particularly grateful for the time I spend training. It makes me feel like I am competent at something! Especially when my day is constructed in increased-aptitude order, i.e. School-Swim-Bike-Run
.
I know that it’s supposed to be this way, that the first few days/weeks, and perhaps beyond, of a graduate program kind of make you wonder why on earth they accepted you. My class notes from yesterday have in giant letters “i will not raise my hand again i will not raise my hand again” but five minutes after typing it, guess where my hand was. Then guess what my mouth was doing… being slightly stumblingly wrong. I think. Next week will be better, I know one thing I can do to improve is to read more critically, question what is being said rather than just accepting it as fact.
Tomorrow I fly to Oregon for Roman and Martina’s wedding! I hope they are bringing some Lev’s Original. GT’s is still off the shelves here in Boulder, and I don’t have my own Kombucha culture going yet, so I’m craving it.
