Oo oo, I do! Pick me!
I am going to write two endless, interesting pages about how my various opportunities and hardships in life have made me especially deserving of a graduate school education in a diverse community.
I’m also going to drum up all my positive energy, turn off my bullshit-detector, and un-offend myself at the suggestion that individuality breeds entitlement, etc. I could get on a high horse (oo fun! pony!) for this particular application essay but instead I’ll just do what I do on this blog all the time: wax rhapsodic about my lifelong awesomeness, (but with my tongue fully dislodged from my cheek). It is indeed going to be awesome.
Once I have all this writing stuff taken care of, I am going to figure out how to post MP3′s on this website, as a follow up to my KEXP Song of the Day post. It will be just like MySpace when you go to your friend’s page and it starts blaring mutant rock! Just kidding. (Btw, who here remembers Papa Roach “Last Resort”?? The Disturbed, “Stupify”?)
Today I went with Ben to the track for his intervals. I like calling out his 400 times to him during his repeats, and I especially like calling out helpful tips such as “use those hips!” and “pretend you’re running down Emma Moffatt!!” I can’t wait to start training again. I had planned to start this week, but some nasty virus sidelined those plans so I am being patient and living vicariously through my boyfriend. Which is definitely faster than living literally through myself, so I’m cool with it for another week
.

Did I hear a “Rocket-hips”?
