Today has been a day. Yesterday was a bit of a day too. Even for little races I still have the worst time sleeping and getting back to normal life afterwards. Although I guess I actually was kind of my normal bitchy self today – this lady sent me like 5 emails about some invoice that I don’t know what it is, cc’ing a ton of people, and she spelled my name wrong. Even though it’s spelled right all over the email thread. So I mis-spelled hers back, on purpose. Ha! Then I told some people I hated them.
I have a giant bruise on my nose from my transition debacles yesterday. And I didn’t even win any stupid prize money to offset the cost of a new camera, for documentation purposes! I really wanted a camera to document how I sneaked up on race winner Chris Tremonte after the race yesterday. He was changing and I pulled his towel off and he flashed everyone! And he thought it was an accident because he looked up and saw the usual suspect standing a very innocent 25 yards away! It was fantastic.
This coming weekend I am running the Ragnar Relay, I’m on a team of twelve. I am really excited about it, I haven’t done anything like this before. I am runner #11, which means I’ll do 16.8 miles of running, the most I have ever done in one day!
Also I wanted to clarify something… last week I mentioned on here that I could start cycling again, then yesterday in my race report I said I’ve barely ridden: what happened was I rode my bike after getting the OK to do so, and the next day my saddle sore was swollen and painful, as if I hadn’t undergone any treatment whatsoever. Maybe I jumped the gun (and meanwhile didn’t update my millions of fans, sorry!). So, I didn’t resume my cycling training like I had planned. I am holding off on riding until I can see a bike fitter/physical therapist later this week. I’m not giving up hope on a decent race at Lake Stevens yet.

hey you only told me you hated me once. sweet!
it was a multi-stage reaction … my towel just fell off … how’d that happen … Ben is all the way over there … it must have just slipped … oh wait, there is Courtenay quietly dashing away from the scene of the crime!
