Everyone is watching American Idol in the other room, we just had our first team meeting and got all our clothing and had dinner and GOT OUR NEW SPECIALIZED BIKES. If I weren’t so tired, I’d post photos for all you gearheads out there. Be ready to drool, maybe tomorrow or the next day
I’m off to bed but first, funny story of the day… a few girls headed out to ride this morning, Leah got a later start and planned to find the others on the road. She saw a group of blue riders heading towards her, assumed it was the other girls, and started zig-zagging and goofing off as she approached them. She headed straight for the front of the group. She was met with shouts and shaking fists.
Turns out, she was running down the Astana boys. NOT her VAC girls! And they all unclipped and stopped to get a good view of the crazyperson trying to sabotage their ride.
WOOO LEAH we all think you are even more awesome now
Oh also, one more thing one more thing: on this professional cycling team, where yours truly is the lone professional triathlete, I am probably the 5th best swimmer. We have two former collegiate swimmers, and two who swam seriously until college. I told everyone to bring suits and caps and goggles! Impromptu swim meet! It might happen…

yay yay yay! i want to see your new bike!
That’s a hysterical story! She must have been thrilled and horrified at the same time!
Hmmm, who is the best triathlete of the group? That is what matters. If they can’t run, it doesn’t matter how fast they swim.
Oh yeah, what happened to your Blue bikes?
