I finally ordered my birthday suit today from Splish!!

And then I changed my mind about something so I emailed them in a panic.

And then I hastily fixed the something and I emailed them again to say it was all done.

And then I reviewed my hasty changes and saw that I had a DIFFERENT COLOR of PINK on some letters than on others!

So I hastily fixed that and emailed them again. Now it’s really done, I sweared.

Then I realized that I should fix one more thing, which I did, but I didn’t get up the nerve to email them for the 5th time today… Here is what I HOPE to get in the mail from them, but if I get a black suit with a purple skull on it and it’s the wrong size, I can’t say I’d blame them. This is why I am not a professional swimsuit designer! Anyhow, LA Tri, here I come, and you’d better tell me Happy Birthday ;) .

I’m sure it happens to them all the time. That is pretty funny though! What a great suit to wear for a race! And they won’t need to write your age on your calf!

I’m thinking ‘cool’ I’d go race there to see a girl running around in her birthday suit but it’s not really the same thing. If you did Big Kahuna on the same day you’d get to race in the same water but much closer and 2x the distance for the same price. You should have put ‘you just got chicked’ on the rear end.

i met this junior girl from LA at a track race, and she had on the most AWESOME booties i had ever seen– they were all bling bling gold! one of her other junior friends had on some shimmery bling bling blue ones. i asked her where she got her booties…cause i really wanted to see if they had a pair of shimmery bling bling orange ones, and she said that SHE MAKES THEM! her mom makes custom swimsuits, and this girl makes the booties! anywhere, i realize you just got a custom swimsuit, but check out all the cool fabrics AND the awesome booties! http://www.suitsbymary.com/

I was wondering about the need for listing your age on the swimsuit because of the calf marking thing, but I didn’t say anything earlier because I wasn’t sure if every triathlon did that.

BTW, since your NCNCA championship is in Masters Women 30+, you only get the $2 race entry in that category. Not very many races offer that category, but most of the upcoming Cal Cup races do.

I just bailed on LA, that makes me sad that I won’t get to see the b-day suit. I hope you get a white one with blue letters and it’s completely see through. Then I hope you take pictures. Can I come to Hawaii with you? that sounds like more fun than racing Malibu.
