This afternoon’s nap turned into a 3-hour sleep – 4:22 until 7:24 p.m. Yikes! Guess I needed it though. Then I went to the gym, then I made dinner, then I ate dinner whilst watching Kitty gallop around the apartment chasing his invisible friends, then I got on the computer. Soon I will shower and take a sleep aid to ensure that my “nap” didn’t doom me to a sleepless night.

Meanwhile, Loren’s trio of babysitters (Greggy Greg, Ben, and Soda)(and by the way why 3 adult babysitters for 2 little girls?!) are in the midst of a rousing poker Hearts game.

I know this because Greggy Greg called me a few minutes ago and told me about it and then unceremoniously hung up. I don’t understand why boys call me right as they are starting to do something, “oh i wanted to say hi because i know you are home alone but i can’t actually talk to you at all because i am busy doing this FUN THING.” This is not the first time, nor the first boyfriend who’s done it. Groan.

I had to laugh at the title of the post. Reminded me of my youth when I was growing up in Boring, Oregon. No, really, there’s a town called Boring!

actually i was technically the only sitter. the boys were swimming most of the time and i made dinner. although i think ben was jealous that greta and Loren dont trust him cause he then took initiative by helping get the girls to bed.

oh by the way we were playing hearts not poker and ben is a really slow card chooser.

Boys will be boys…especially with OTHER boys around! I can’t decide what’s worse..the “too busy to chat” call or not calling at all. Humm..

WHY DO THEY DO THAT? “Oh yeah, I just wanted to um…say…hi…oh…actuallly I’m kind of busy right now Ihavetogobye.” Click.

So lame. We should have a big girlfest at one of our houses and not invite them and then call them to tell them about the great bike ride we’re doing and make them jealous.
