This is the slogan of the only reliably tolerable radio station in town, 103.7 the RIVER. It’s a classic rock station, not normally what I would choose but pickin’s are slim here. And I’ve actually started to enjoy it… daily doses of “Black Magic Woman”, “Somebody to Love”, “Ruby Tuesday”, and their token Phil Collins song, “In the Air Tonight”, which I already loved thanks to Eminem’s “Stan” and to an ex-boyfriends dad who would play Phil’s concert DVD’s full blast while singing along teary-eyed! The funny things to me here are 1. apparently classic rock stations’ playlists consist of <500 songs. I spend less than a half hour a day in my car, yet I always hear the same songs. And 2. I haven’t yet heard any of the music I grew up with… Air Supply, Cat Stevens, Whitney Houston, Billy Idol, Beethoven, Depeche Mode, etc. (in that approximate order).

I hurt my left shoulder yesterday and so I am doing everything with my rarely-used right hand/arm today. I am really dizzy from typin this post. Rilly rilly dizzy.

You have one radio station, I have 260 some with XM radio…I still have the same problem. Everytime I turn on the radio, same songs!! URGH!

I’m with Sarah, what’s up with the shoulder?!

Okay – good vibes for your shoulder! Hang in there! OF course, had you been in Florida and picked up the House Monster, you could have thrown it out THAT way. DId Charley Kitty have anything to do with it?

thanks you guys! the shoulder thing was my own dumb fault… long freestyle LCM set plus tired from the previous night’s socializing plus paddles plus still working on swimming with proper technique equals bad news!
but taking the day off yesterday and using ice and advil seemed to do the trick, especially since i avoided using the arm altogether (which meant not picking up kitty :( :( :( )
